What year is the van ??, Is the engine going to be fuel injected??, or Carb??...
With older models of the van (Up to 94) you can just disconnect the fuel pump and run a fuel pump on a switch....but I don't believe you can do this on the newer models (95ish and up) without eliminating the computer.... scratch maybe but not sure on this one....still learning on the newer style vans
Why would you be going to run an external pump??
Couldn't you just run the pump from the van in the newer style tank??

Yes welcome aboard!

Figure 8 race is wild. Not a smash up derby. It's like a circle track race, but the track is a figure 8, the idea is to get through the intersection without crashing. Wild to watch, I don't think I could do it tho, maybe when I was younger it would have been fun.

I got that info from another forum. The stock pump is in the tank and we are putting a tank inside the cab and figured an external would be easier. It is injected. Why, because this van had run its life and was being used to transport wood from the splitter to the shop, not that I think an excuse is needed Very Happy . The rest I will have to find out, I am just the free labour, well beer labour. Thanks guys!
